Short Course Registration
Short Course in Invertebrate Pathology
Registration has ended
After a very successful short course in 2001 in Noordwijkerhout, once again, the Division on Microbial Control, this time in association with the University of Vermont, is pleased to offer a short course on Invertebrate Pathology at the Society's Annual Meetings in Burlington. The exact date and duration of the course has not yet been determined, but it will be scheduled to avoid conflicts with all other scheduled events at the Annual Meeting. Registration fees include costs of selected textbook(s) which are mandatory and will provide the registrants the opportunity to obtain these textbooks at a much reduced student rate. This year we are pleased to be able to expand our curriculum and provide students the opportunity to select areas of specialization. As each area of specialization will require a minimum number of registrants, we might not be able to offer all areas of specialization. If a student's requested area of specialization is not offered, the student will be offered the option to either switch to another specialization, or obtain a refund. Students may register in any number of areas of specialization, as all areas will be covered during the course. Details and on-line registration are available on the Society's website (www.sipweb.org). Prepayment of registration via credit card is required. ABSOLUTE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS 16 May, as the textbooks need to be ordered well in advance of the course, to ensure timely delivery.
