The following symposia and workshops will be held during the 2011 SIP meeting in Halifax, Canada

Symposia 2011
- Forest Insect Viral Diseases
- Pathology of insect-virus interactions
- Viruses of Aquatic Invertebrates (Cross-divisional Symposium with the Division of Diseases of Beneficial Invertebrates)

Workshops 2011
A workshop will be held on Virus taxonomy.
There will also be a cross-divisional workshop on diagnosis of insect pathogens.

Suggestions for symposia and workshops for 2012 are most welcome and can be submitted to the Virus Division Chair through e-mail.
