The Nematode Division was created and had its first organization and business meeting and symposia at the annual SIP in Guanajuato, Mexico August, 2000. The first meeting had 13 in attendance and was called to order by Itamar Glazer.
The first slate of officers approved were: Chair, Itamar Glazer; Chair-elect, Noel Boemare; Secretary/Treasurer, Albrecht Koppenhöfer; and Members-at-large, Byron Adams and Patricia Stock.
