Mission

The Mission of the Fungus Division is to promote scientific understanding of the pathology of fungal diseases of invertebrate animals. The Division will stimulate scientific investigations on this topic, and promote international cooperation in such research through the planning, organization, and administration of projects that advance the scientific knowledge of fungal pathogens of invertebrates, and further the education of invertebrate biologists in this scientific field.
